Summer has arrived at our rooftop bar in Shoreditch
Summer’s back in Shoreditch, and so is our rooftop. This year, Queen of Hoxton has been transformed into a tropical hideaway inspired by the warmth, colour and rhythm of the Caribbean. With frozen margaritas, strawberry daiquiris, lush greenery, outdoor DJ sessions, and a Rum Shack-style bar, this is the perfect place to take in the sights of East London.

With frozen cocktails flowing and the sun shining over Shoreditch, our rooftop bar is bringing full Caribbean energy to one of the best rooftop bars in Shoreditch this summer. Our drinks menu is packed with tropical favourites, from piña coladas and rum punch to frozen margaritas and strawberry & lime daiquiri slushies made for long afternoons on the rooftop.
For those keeping things alcohol-free, there’s plenty on offer too, including our Clean Paloma with Clean T Punch and pink grapefruit, or the Clean French 75 with Clean G, lemon, and 0% prosecco. You’ll also find all your favourite beers and ciders on tap, ready for rooftop sessions that roll from day into night.

No Caribbean themed rooftop is complete without some authentic Bajan food, is it?
This year, we’re buzzing to announce that our food will be led by BARBS, the UK’s first authentic Bajan fast-casual concept, who will be delivering their delicious menu to our rooftop bar. All of their meals are inspired by their grandma’s cooking straight from Barbados, so you know you’re getting the real deal.
From Bajan fishcakes and corn fritters to classic Bajan burgers, the menu brings bold, comforting island flavours made for sharing on the rooftop.
outdoor DJ sessions
This year we wanted to take things up a notch, which is why we’re launching a new series of outdoor DJ sessions on our rooftop bar. All summer long, we’ve got a stacked line-up of DJs soundtracking the daytime on the rooftop as part of ‘Queen of Sundays’.
Since 2009, we’ve been showcasing some of London’s best DJs across the venue, so it felt only right to bring that energy up onto the roof. If you’re looking for rooftop events in Shoreditch, this is where your Sundays are sorted. Who said that Sundays have to be boring?
Picture it: sunshine overhead, piña colada in hand, music rolling through the rooftop – sounds like heaven to us! For a few hours, it’s as close to a Caribbean escape as you’ll get in east London.

We’re mostly a walk-in rooftop, so just turn up and we’ll do our best to get you a table! If you want to plan ahead to make sure you’ve secured a table, we take limited bookings Wednesday to Friday until 6pm, and Saturdays until 5pm.

We might be turning the rooftop into a Caribbean paradise this summer, but that’s just one chapter in its story. Over the years it’s been transformed in all sorts of ways, from Alice in Winterland to a full Las Vegas takeover. Each season brings something new, and we like to think that’s exactly why people keep coming back!
