We have listed some precautionary pointers below in the ways in which we can all work together to operate safe events and bars, whilst retaining the same fantastic experiences. Please take note where possible.

Please stay at home if you have COVID symptoms or believe you may have been exposed to infection. if you have already purchased a ticket or made a booking then please contact us and we can discuss different options.

Before your visit, we ask you to please take a lateral flow test to make sure you do not have COVID, however providing your negative test result will not be a condition of entry. We also strongly advise you do your part and get your vaccination, however proof of this will not be asked for.

Whilst masks will not be mandatory during your time at QOH these do offer an additional layer of protection and we will support your choice to continue wearing one. Our staff may choose to continue wearing masks; If so, please respect their choice to do so.

We will be deep cleaning the building regularly and there will be sanitising units around the building. We ask you to please play your part in keeping the building clean from contact risk by regularly washing your hands and using the sanitiser provided.

Finally, please enjoy yourselves (safely). This has been a tough year on all of us and we deserve to feel some good vibrations.

We DO NOT take reservations so it’s just a matter of turning up on the day. We occasionally have private parties Mon – Thurs so check our opening hours before turning up.

We occasionally close for private parties so keep up to date via our social media pages (also found at the bottom of the homepage).

Absolutely. Our areas are casual and offer a mixture of seating and standing space for the evening. We don’t charge a fee or have a minimum spend requirement – we just need a £50 pre-authorization on a credit or debit card to confirm your booking. No money will be taken off your card at the time, we just ask that you give us 48 hours notice if you no longer require the reservation (we often have a waiting list so it enables us to offer the space to someone else before hand).

For bookings of 20 or more we require a £100 deposit to be paid in advance which is redeemable as a bar tab on the day/night of your booking.

Please be aware that due to the size of the venue we can only hold tables for 20 minutes after the booked time. We cannot take bookings beyond 7.30pm.

We cater for private parties, filming and daytime hire from 50 up to 500 people. Let us know the nature of your event, and we will advise you on the best space for your requirements.

Please note we are unable to offer private hire on Friday and Saturday nights.

On this day 19 years ago, 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights. 2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning tomorrow, 343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift. 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol and 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift of saving lives.

None of them saw past 10:00 am Sept 11, 2001.

We don’t charge to enter the venue (including the roof) during the week, but there are some entry fees on Friday and Saturday for our club nights, usually from 8pm or 9pm, and this will include for the rooftop. We sometimes run daytime events in the summer which we may charge entry fees for also.  For more details, check out our events here.

We currently don't offer a guest list that’ll discount your entry for our weekly Wildlife night We don’t offer queue jump lists, but we’re pretty efficient at getting people in quickly. To avoid any wait at all, join us early – before 10pm is a really good bet.

We also do not offer guest lists on Saturdays, we sell tickets leading up to Saturday nights that are cheaper than OTD and also guarantee* you entry up until 11pm (ROAR*). We don’t operate a guest list for the rooftop as well. If you have a large group looking for tickets please get in touch.

That depends entirely on the night! We throw parties playing everything from disco and house to old school hip hop, classic garage, indie, electronica and so on. Check out our What’s On page for more details.

On our roof terrace, we serve delicious food fresh off the Schwenk-grill; take a look on our menu page. We can’t take pre-orders on the roof as it would be difficult to spot you without an allocated area.

If you have a booking and fancy a bit of grub, we offer a platter menu for 10 people or more. This needs to be pre-ordered and paid for 3 days before your booking and is not available to order on the night.

With an area reservation, you can pre-order drinks for your arrival.  We can also provide your party with wristbands if you want to operate a pre-paid bar tab.

Casual – Our general policy is no formal wear so come dressed to dance!  Please note that due to safety and the nature of the venue open toe shoes and flip flops are not permitted. Shorts are permitted both for men and women. Smart trainers too.

Yes we do Thursdays – Saturdays from 5pm (located by the ladies toilet in our basement foyer, head straight downstairs as you enter and it’s on the left-hand side). Bags are always free, and it is £1 per item otherwise. Please note: When depositing items please provide us with either your initials or the last four digits of your phone number as added security. CCTV is in operation in the cloakroom and across the venue. If you lose your ticket you will have to wait until the end of the night or collect the next day.  We often have over 1000 items in our cloakroom so its impossible to search items when you lose a ticket. We can not accept a photo of your ticket as proof, the original ticket must be kept safe as this is the only proof you deposited an item.

Please let us know if you have expensive or high risk items such as laptops or tablets before using the cloakroom.  We are happy to keep these secure for you in a higher security locked room.

Unfortunately not – we’ll need to see a valid driver’s license or a passport (In Date)  if you’re lucky enough to look under 25.

 We cannot accept photocopies, pictures of ID’s on phones or notes from your parents. The venue operates the Challenge 25 scheme

If you over-indulged & ‘misplaced something’, or actually lost something of yours at the venue, please phone us between 10am-6pm. If your item has been found or you left something  in the cloakroom (and still have the ticket !)you can collect at the following times: Please be patient in receiving a reply!

BODY WORN CAMERAS OPERATE AT THIS VENUE

Our security are here to keep both our staff and customers safe.  We operate a search on entry policy.  This will include a ‘Pat down ‘ and bag search upon entry.  We have both male and female security so please advise us on entry if you have any preference on who performs your search. Our entrance security have body worn cameras operating at all times. These record both visual and audio data.  This data is stored in accordance to the ICO’s requirements.

We do not permit liquids in the venue, gifts can be left in our office upon entry and collected at the end of your evening. Other liquids will be confiscated upon entry.  If you wish to retain your water bottle then the contents will be emptied by our staff and the bottle returned to you.

The venue provides chilled filtered water on request at no charge, we are happy to refill your water bottle for you when you leave, just pop to the bar.

We currently have a full resident roster, but are always happy to receive mixes from the public for future consideration. These must include a track list & be no longer than 60 minutes. Please email any submissions to adam@mothershipgroup.com

Queen of Hoxton reserves the right to refuse entry to the venue to ticket holders at any time in accordance with UK Licensing Laws.

All tickets purchased via our website are non-refundable including for NYE and NYD events. We reserve the right to cancel and refund tickets at our discretion.

If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, we will offer a full refund of the ticket price. If an event if cancelled and rescheduled, we will offer tickets for the rescheduled date or, where you are unable to attend on the rescheduled date, a full refund of the ticket price.

Please have your photo ID ready for checking upon entry.  Original documents are the only form accepted.  We can not accept photo copies or letters from your parents! It’s a licence condition so the response will always be the same.

We are a busy venue and as such are over protective of our customers.  We will not permit entry to those  we believe are too intoxicated to safely enter the venue. This is our industry and we have many years of experience , please do not get offended with our ruling.

Just ask our security staff or one of the managers who are usually by the front door and we will ensure that a cab is booked for you and that you get into the right car and home safe.

We have all been there! Sometimes friends get separated and its always the ones you are staying the night with.  We have a multi charger located by the front door that we are happy to let you use to kick start your phone. We just ask that you stay with your phone whilst its charges and only use enough to get you a call or two.  Quite often others are waiting also so we say 15/20 mins is the limit.

If you are a stranger to the area and loose your friends then don’t panic or get upset.  Come to the bar or front door and have a chat with our staff.  We can work wonders and have united many people over the years.  We will ensure you are looked after and kept safe, whatever happens we will get you home safe.

If you are on a date or ever feel uncomfortable with someone in the venue then please go to the bar and “ask for Angela”.  Our staff are fully trained and will acknowledge this code word.  We will then do the rest to get you out of that situation.
